Margaret Galbraith and Donald Mcdonald, settled in Ardelay
I will get to this page soon. The above image is of my ggg grandparents in their very senior years outside their croft in Tarbert. Both were born in Gigha, and after they married in 1849, they lived for a while at Ardelay where they also had their first children. Donald is the son of John McDonald, a weaver, and his wife Isobel (aka Elizabeth) Galbraith.
